Alongside many years of high level juggling his big passion has always been comedy and acting. Johan has toured in more than 30 countries and has performed live for over a million people and more than 40 million TV-viewers.

1992 - 2001

The beginning

Johan fell in love with comedy and entertainment at age 12. He honed his craft by performing street shows across Europe and Australia for many years.

2002-2009

Fabriken

In 2002, Johan built his theatre FABRIKEN - a creative space for a variety of shows and artists. He performed FRAKTGODS there over 100 times and also hosted dinners with shows, DJs and a bar for a full night out.

2002-2005

Fraktgods

Johan arrives onstage in a cargo box, ready to perform - but something goes wrong. Still, the show unfolds into a spectacular, improvised performance as he skillfully navigates the unexpected with charm and ease.

2006 & 2007

Johan produced and directed this full-scale Variety show featuring 12 artists performing comedy, sword swallowing, live music, acrobatics and more. The show played to sold out houses and raving reviews.

Johan Wellton Vs. The Symphony

A solo creation set to classical music performed by the Gävle Symphony Orchestra. A huge success, seamlessly blending the art forms into a unified experience.

Johan brings together the world’s most spectacular street performers to present their incredible acts. Over a decade, the project has entertained more than 400,000 people on tour.
